Be a Hero
Open your home to a cat who needs a safe place to land.
We do not have a central shelter. We rely on fosters to care for Hyde Park Cats, get to know their personalities, and prepare them for adoption.
Every new foster home gives us the chance to save a cat from the streets or a high-risk shelter.
You do not need to be a cat expert. Patience, communication, and a safe indoor space are what matter most.

Get matched. We’ll connect you with a cat whose needs fit your household.
Foster with support. Help the cat settle in and share what you learn about them.
Meet potential adopters. Introduce your foster cat to approved applicants.
Celebrate their adoption. Their next chapter makes room for another cat to be rescued.

Community Foster Program
Found a cat and willing to care for them?
Our Community Foster Program supports people who can provide a temporary home for a cat they have found while working with Hyde Park Cats to prepare the cat for adoption. Community fosters play a more active role in the rescue process, including helping with veterinary care, photos, updates, and adoption coordination.
